Dear Air Force and CFP members,

what I am about to announce was not an easy decision for myself. We set goals, we already accomplished a lot of them from the list, but it – the fact – was getting more inevitable by the minute: we couldn’t win this election by ourselves. My good partner, Dj, was already leading the polls. Looking at his character, which was more human than any politican I’ve ever seen, he deserved to be. I am consequent with my actions. I stated yesterday that my campaign be suspended until I would receive a reply from Dj. He accepted the offer, I am an administrator on the campaign site like all other bloggers there, and so the dice has fallen. I AM MERGING WITH DJ’S CAMPAIGN. I LOSE MY “SOVEREIGNITY”, BUT I AM STILL IN THE ELECTIONS. VOTE DJ, FIASCO121 OR ME!

I call upon all Air Force and CFP members to not hesitate and immediately support Dj, Fiasco, and myself. It’s important that we gather as many members into the tri-force because Furbur already has support from the General Staff. But we have more people: normal citizens and loyal non-commissioned officers. But this is a democracy and everyone’s voice shall be heard. We represent the plain citizen of this Federation and we will win above all others who stand against this Campaign of Three!

Campaign Suspended

Dear Air Force and CFP members,

due to the unrest that has been provided by unfair privileges granted to Furbur27 by the authorities, I have offered a merger with my closest “partner” of all opponents: Djgtjvgyhxgy. He openly stated that he would support me as leader; that truly takes humility and human touch from a politican. No, Dj, if I may abbreviate his name due to the good terms of the friendship, is not a politican: he is a true human-being who does not let his mind be brainwashed by the lust for power. I dare say that he may be the first leader-in-the-making to NOT use propaganda or cold-blooded attacks against his opponents. I’m afraid that I’ve been crouching there for minutes just to point out mistakes by my opponents and shout it out at the top of my typing skills. Everyone has done this to everyone; except Dj.

Let’s get down to the point. I AM HEREBY TEMPORARILY SUSPENDING MY CAMPAIGN TO AWAIT THE REACTION OF DJ TO MY MERGER OFFER. IF IT IS SUCCESSFUL, THEN I SHALL CEASE MY CAMPAIGN AND RESIGN FROM THE CANDIDACY THAT I HAD STATED EARLIER.

I deeply apologize to all supporters but urge them to support Dj, Fiasco121, and myself – but mainly Dj – in the future until the election day finally comes. Thank you for your understanding.

9,000 Hits, A Year Ago

Dear Airforce members,

we have finally reached a new mark in hits – 9,000! IT’S OVER NINE THOUSANNDDD! Just kidding – until YOU have viewed this for a complete minute. The last we celebrated a new thousands mark was in March. March 14th was the last date that a post was published before the unfortunate three-and-a-half month death of the site. We basically achieved a thousand hits in three weeks! CONGRATULATIONS!

Now on to the second part of the post: a year ago. What was a year ago, exactly to the date? 25 July, 2008… do the historians remember? Of course not, those damn biased bastards. On 25 July, 2008 the polls closed and I stood there, having gotten 40% of the 650 votes, as the winner. My closest rival, John Borne, only scored 30%. Imagine: 10% lead over the second-best! Well, that was then. Times have changed, so has the responsibility of the citizen to stay loyal. Am I calling everyone a traitor? No! I’m just calling them a politican-citizen. What? That’s right, a politican-citizen. Instead of getting abused in financial and social ways by their politicans, they do the opposite – they betray the politicans they once used to support. All those 260+ supporters a year ago are mostly gone. Oh well.

News this Week

Dear Air Force members,

I present to you: “News this Week”. In news this week: nothing! Or at least such a quantity, that if it were to be rounded to the nearest WHOLE number, it would be rounded DOWN to ZERO! And because we present news on a “rounding to decent number place” basis, there are no headlines today.

Oh wait! There is news; but of course not concerning the internal affairs directly. They rather presented external news on the RPF site. Army rankings… hey look, it actually mentions RPF in news for once! But it’s bad news, as we are placed seventh in army rankings (I’m assuming “size”), along with the UMA and WW. We also had a better-than-horrible Practice Battle outcome against WW, i.e. fifteen people. But I don’t get “Now dark blue”, as Fiasco wrote. Are we dark blue now? No idea what he wants us to interprete from those three words.

Well, that’s all I can think of right now. I too haven’t posted at regular intervals because there just isn’t anything to post. Remember that I don’t make the news; most of the time the news comes from the RPF Headquarters, alias Main Site.

The election is coming ever closer. Stay excited and loyal to the party!

Ranks Proposal

Many people have been holding serious and well-composed discussions about the new ranks structure they would use, were they to be elected. There are four main groups:

1. The “old” Commando ranks of 2007/08
2. The new ranks (see present)
3. A mix of both (Furbur27)
4. The ranks known to the world as the “serious” or “real” ranks)

For future reference, I clearly believe in point 4. Thus my ranks could be categorized as “CAT IV” ranks, were my index to be used. And because every country is different, here the NATO Code, written before each rank, a code recognized by more than a dozen nations’ militaries for reference (including YOUR and MINE). It’s in the internet if you’re interested. THE STAR COUNT NEXT TO THE RANK NEVER CHANGES UNLESS PROMOTED AND IS ONLY FOR COMMISSIONED OFFICERS. It’s basically the insignia (shoulder stripes/stars). But onto the ranks:

* = In all nations, the Commander-in-Chief is NOT listed in the Army ranks. Since I did, however, I invented the code “MA-3″, “MA-2″ and “MA-1″, as “OF-10″ is the highest for an officer who is physically enlisted IN the Army. MA-3, of course, is the President.

** = The General-Colonel was a rank in Imperial Germany for those not qualified for Field Marshal (due to prejudice). In this system, however, it is the equivalent of a Head General (where ONE Warlord is the Branch Leader). The Branch Leader here is the Grand Marshal of the _____.

*** = Specialist is the equivalent of a Corporal, but for a “special divison”. When promoted from this rank, the soldier leaves the Army as such and joins the hierarchial system of the special divison; ranks are very likely to work differently. General-Colonel is the highest rank a specialist can reach.

The Air Force Site has now been officially interfused with the Conservative Federalist Party Site. The change occured about twenty-eight hours ago (yesterday while all of you Westeners should have been sleeping). I have granted myself permission as dual administrator for this change.

Oh, and to my dearest Warlord colleague: if you don’t start getting active and actually visiting/commenting the site and chat (I monitor my blog statistics) the probability of you gaining authorship becomes even slimmer.  Same for those “superiors” de facto that piss me off a lot. Not going to happen. What’s that? I don’t get promoted if I don’t do as you say? Well it wouldn’t do me any good the other way around, either. I’d be Smithers, and you Mr. Burns; an even more sadistic Mr. Burns. Shame.

Air Force News [Ranks]

Dear Air Force members,

[insert valid rank here] Furbur27 has updated the entire top half of the Ranks of the Federation. Yes, I am a Warlord of the Air Force now, but I am not happy. First, I am not the Federal Marshal of the Air Force (or an equal rank) as promised. Second, I now have to share the powers with someone else. And third, the entire superiors want to be administrators on here (except for Kyle, Tucker and Bleu, everyone has requested thus far). Do the math: that’s eight f****** (pardon the profanity) administrators! Now let me tell you that being removed from administrator by another one of those seven administrators is not that unlikely; it has happened multiple times on multiple different sites with far fewer administrators. I kindly but demandingly OBJECT to the absurd request / quasi-order.

Fourth, Furbur27 did NOT grant us any “Used Car Salesmen” (or the equivalent of a Head General for those, like me, who do not understand this code of Kindergarten slang). According to the ranks, we only have two soldiers. The ranks page is unofficially out-of-date, and we can only anticipate from “Used Car Salesmen” down who belongs in which branch, as they are not colour coded. Pity.

I, however, still claim complete and individual top rank authority over this branch. After all, he [Furbur27] did promise to make MY rank title official to mark my return.

Active Count

Candidacy for the August 2009 Election

Dear Air Force members, dear guest viewers, fellow citizens,

my name is Ziehen, and I am the Federal Marshal of the Air Force of the Rebel Penguin Federation. With this post, I am officially announcing my candidacy for the August 2009 Election for the office of the President of the United Servers of the Rebel Penguin Federation.

I am running for this position not only for the prestige and glory, but for the people. Indeed, I am offering you, the people, an alternative to my only current opponent: Omega39. His perspective will be reiterated below my agenda shortly after. However, to be blunt and get this out as an “introductory statement”: the only one here that can lead the Federation back to a territorial, military and stable state is me. You shall be surprised what territorial plans Omega39 has in stock (see below).

But first of all: my history.

• Length of Service: ~ 23 months (June 2007 – May 2008; returned late June 2009)
• Ranks: June 2007 General; November 2007 Head General; January 2008 Warlord; March 2008 Head Warlord; July 2008 Second-in-Command; July 2008 President (elected)
• Influence & achievements as Pre-President, President and Post-President:
• Pre:
• From March 2008 until July 2008, I developed the Air Force into the most active (military and site) branch of the entire Army
• I was part of the Congress since late 2007 and represented the conservative liberalist perspective of my people there; I was re-elected multiple times
• I was Frostbite Governor since late 2007 and represented that server until my election to President
• I was the political analyst and mind in late Spring 2008
• President:
• A constitutional republic with all three levels of federal government: a congress consiting of two houses (with a chat by myself and a site), a supreme court with five judges (initiative, chat, and site by myself), a cabinet.
• A Constitution reform allowing federalism and more influence of the people instead of centralism (as outlined in the original by Omega39)
• Continuous elections
• The treaty of the Tundra Union and the President of the First Council
• Shifting the focus of anarchist Army to a conservative liberalist Government-Army relationship
• Solving disputes between ranks and greediness that was slowly and internally liquidating the Army
• I created the position of Prime Minister (head of state), so that the power of the President would be quasi split into two persons
• I made the Federation into a representative democracy rather than a centralized totalitarian state; the congress could now pass or veto bills with simple majority voting
• Post-Leader:
• I was still active on the scene as Chief of Congress (highest legislative position) and hosted orderly and weekly Congress meetings
• I was a quasi political advisor of Commando717 and assisted him with this so that he could focus on Military aspects

Now for my agenda as President-elect:

• Government: the government will be a constitutional monarchy. I will be the monarch who then appoints a person to handle internal affairs while I lead the military and appoint a cabinet. Together, the head of government, cabinet, congress, and local governments will form a federal state under the people’s electoral will. And to ensure proper representaiton and liberty, the single-party (unofficial) system shall be abolished; parties may be formed if they contain at least 10% of the total presidential election voters.
• Territory: I will first solidize our borders to the outside to avoid the own-growing threat of plunderers thanks to Omega39 “selling off” all servers but Tuxedo. I WILL NOT LET THAT HAPPEN! This federation needs more than one server to stay at the top of all armies! With one server, there is no room for army expansionism or improvement!
• Army: The Army will be re-divided into the old branch system. There will be ONE Warlord to keep an eye on the entire branch as a whole. Two Head Generals will be in charge of sub-divisions, and the three Generals of squads. All of the above will be eligible for the grand Congress of 28 persons. The Army will receive proper weekly training and practice battles. We all have learned from the past: THE ARMY IS THE CENTRE FOCUS OF THIS FEDERATION AND THE GOVERNMENT SHALL SUPPORT AND LEAD IT APPROPRIATELY FOR SUCCESS AND GROWTH AT ALL TIMES!
• Army Recruiting: Daily recruiting is an asset to growth; hence it will be the most common mission of the common trooper along with patrolling our current servers. The more people, the stronger the army, the more organization is needed. I can ensure all three under my system.
• External relationships: The appropriate relationships with other nations and armies is important to sustain a successful Federation. I have proven the expertise at negotiation and putting the Federation and its people first at all times during my President and Chief of Congress eras. If an Army Council  is formed, it shall contain representation by population (/troop size) or the USRPF will decline membership. The Tundra Union should have equal representation (one-third).
• Fun: FUN… the most important aspect of this Federation. And there will be fun; tons of it! I shall appoint a Minister of Recreation and Leisure (a.k.a. FUN) to host and organize weekly parties. These parties shall hopefully be on weekends and there might even be Army awards for oustanding troops! Just remember that for every aspect, there will be one minister of cabinet.
• Career opportunities (ranks cont’d): The system should be simple and helpful, meaning that every recent addition of personnel shall receive the training he/she needs to succeed fast. How? There will be a person-to-person training basis. No one will be excluded or left alone in the corner. The current system unfortunately shows growing amounts of this unorganized ANARCHIST movement. I count on organization, support, and strict enforcements of certain Army aspects. For other, “not-so-fatal-if-failing” aspects, more liberty will be ensured.
• Constitution: The Constitution will be re-written by myself, the Head of Government, and Cabinet to fit into the new system. This process may take up to two weeks. When deemed complete, the Congress shall vote not for own progress, but for the progress of the people. If a congressman votes for his own good and not of his representees, he will be removed: strict means strict.
• Opinions: All opinions are to be shared via comment or chat message. Opinions are vital to ensuring democratic freedom of speech and success of the representation the people vote for every few months. Thus it is important for you, the people, to think thoroughly before voting for the person who will represent YOU and dozens other (on average) for these few months!

In conclusion, my system is based on organization, a written base for rules and decision-making, the liberty of the common citizen and soldier to share his opinion, and the Army as the centre focus of all decision-making for a stable Federation with that stable base made of the people. If the people are unhappy, the base will crumble, and I will fall with them. This means that we rely on each other for successful recovery and growth. I rely on your vote; and you on my agenda and expertise to assist you in your desire for Army rather than Government. I also encourage everyone to run for an office to add the personal skills and expertise for the final concept of the Federation. LONG LIVE DEMOCRACY, LIBERTY, AND THE FEDERATION!
